With all the talk about how to get environmentally-friendly energy technologies on economic parity with fossil, its absurd that these fossil subsidies still exist. I wonder just how competitive things like wind and solar would be compared to fossil if these didn't exist. As it is now, solar will be on cost-parity with coal in just a few years. Imagine if that had happened ten years ago.
